Long-Term Care

Long-term care is becoming an issue with more and more families. It certainly did with mine.

Just the term brings many questions to mind. Just how likely are you to ever need it? How would you handle it, the costs, the problems? Isn't it expensive? But doesn't my regular insurance cover long-term care? How do you find a an insurance policy that covers it? Where are good facilities and how can you tell?

I didn't think much about long-term care until my mother-in-law, then an Uncle and then my own mother required such care.

I decided that nobody else should have to spend hours on the phone, days waiting for information in the mail, read countless pages of mumbo-jumbo and still be confused.

So - putting together some of what was learned from all that and a bunch of time researching the internet produced this site.
